Not for the first time, Keyshia Cole’s concert in South Africa has been cancelled.
The reason? Scheduling challenges, despite promising fans the “show they deserve”.
The US R&B singer was set to perform in the country in less than a week at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena, Pretoria’s SunBet Arena, and the Grand Arena at GrandWest in Cape Town.

According to a statement, Keyshia Cole’s management requested another postponement to her South African tour. The US singer was expected to perform at three venues on 24-26 April in Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Cape Town.,
However less than a week before the performance, the singer requested another postponement over “scheduling conflicts”.
South African promoters – Glen21 Entertainment – took the decision to scrap the concert altogether.
The company said in a statement: “Due to the latest request to push the date back once again, the promoter has declined to proceed with further changes and has no choice but to cancel the event. altogether”
Ticketholders will be given a full refund.
DELAYS AND DISAPPOINTMENT
Keyshia Cole was initially meant to perform in South Africa in September 2024; however, due to “unforeseen circumstances,” it was postponed to January 2025.
The January show was rescheduled for April after the singer lost her home in the LA wildfires.
However, Keyshia promised fans that she would be performing in the country. In a video message, she shared with SA fans, she said: “The wildfires in LA devastated not only my home but also my spirit for a moment.
“I needed time to heal, rebuild, and be fully present to give my fans in South Africa the show they deserve. Your love and support have been a light through a dark time, and I can’t wait to see you all.”
Meanwhile, Keyshia Cole is set to kick off her world tour later this year.
