The season 1 finale of Daredevil: Born Again set up an important team, and it’s the perfect excuse for one old character to return. Episode 9 showed the MCU’s New York City taking a turn for the worse under Fisk’s rule. After Bullseye’s attempt on Fisk’s life, a city-wide blackout caused chaos in the streets. To further his anti-vigilante agenda, Fisk uses the drama of the night to justify a ban on masked vigilante activity. With the city now under Martial Law, the season ends with Matt rounding up a team to fight back against Fisk once and for all.
