Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord is the latest Star Warsanimated TV show, and it’s the best chance for the franchise to redeem its biggest theatrical failure. Announced during the Lucasfilm Animation panel at Star Wars Celebration 2025, the series will be set one year after Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and follow Maul rebuilding his criminal empire. Fans in attendance were lucky enough to see the show’s new animation style and an in-room-only sizzle.
